SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team had four of its players named Tuesday afternoon to the 2025 Division II Academic All-District ® Team, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom.
Vincent Micucci,
Ty Millhimes,
Alex Sauve and
Peyton Stadler all achieved a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA) (entering the fall semester) while meeting the on-field requirements of competing in 90 percent of the institution's games or starting in at least 66 percent of the games. All four men are first-time honorees.
Micucci is an academic sophomore who is an exercise science major with a Human Performance & Fitness concentration. The Quakertown native entered the fall semester with a 3.50 cumulative GPA.
Millhimes is an academic sophomore who is an exercise science major with a Human Performance & Fitness concentration. The Hummelstown native entered the fall semester with a 3.73 cumulative GPA.
Sauve is an academic sophomore who is a civil engineering major with an Environmental Engineering concentration. The Mechanicsburg native entered the fall semester with a 4.00 cumulative GPA.
Stadler is an academic sophomore who is a civil engineer major. The Fairfield native entered the fall semester with a 3.95 cumulative GPA.
