The Shippensburg University women's indoor track & field team continued its three-day weekend of competition Saturday by wrapping up its stay at Bucknell's Bison Challenge & Multi.
 
Lauren Bellows recorded a new personal best in the weight throw, placing fourth with a top mark of 51 feet, 8 ¼ inches (15.75 meters). It's a new PR by four inches, and a new season best of nearly two feet.
 
The performance moves up one spot from 10th into ninth on SU's all-time weight throw rankings.

Anne Gardner paced the Raiders in the long jump and triple jump. Her top long jump of 16 feet, 8 ¾ inches (5.10 meters) was a new season best, while her triple jump of 36 feet (10.97 meters) resulted in a third-place finish. Ellie Manyara improved her triple jump PR to 35 feet, 1 ¼ inches (10.70 meters) with a sixth-place finish.
 
Grace Nesko paced the Raiders in the 800 and the mile with new personal bests. Her 800-meter time of 2:30.14 was .34 seconds ahead of teammate Anna Schaeffer, while her mile time of 5:24.24 resulted in eighth place.
 
Shippensburg completes its weekend of competition tomorrow at Penn with an afternoon meet hosted by Widener called the Schuylkill Showdown.
