SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's basketball team allowed a season-low 45 points to Bloomsburg Saturday to extend its win streak to five games in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action at Heiges Field House, 62-45.
Shippensburg (11-9, 6-7 PSAC East) delivered Bloomsburg (5-15, 2-11) an early knockout punch, shooting 60 percent from three-point range (6-of-10) in the first half while holding the Huskies to just 20.8 percent from the field, including an ice cold 0-for-12 from three before halftime.

The first of Dickson's treys put the Raiders up 10 points, 13-3, early on. The SU point guard later drained threes on back-to-back trips to put the hosts up 21 points, 29-8, with 5:21 left in the opening half. Meanwhile, the SU defense held the Huskies to under 10 points on the scoreboard until the 4:54 mark of the first half.

The Raiders never trailed Saturday, marking the team's second consecutive wire-to-wire win. SU held Bloomsburg to a season-best 26.9 field goal percentage defensively. They outscored the Huskies in the paint 30-to-16 and maintained a 14-to-5 advantage in second chance points.
Jaydon Smith scored 14 points and grabbed five boards for Shippensburg, while Frank tallied 13 points, five rebounds and two steals.
Denzel Figueroa made his presence known on the defensive end, registering five points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal.

The Huskies shot just 13.6 percent from three-point range overall Saturday (3-of-22), while the Raiders shot 37.5 percent (6-of-16).
