SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University baseball team is ranked No. 9 in the 2026 National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Preseason Poll released Monday.
 
Shippensburg registered a 28-22 record in 2025 and qualified for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament.
 
SU had six players named to the 2025 All-PSAC Team, including a trio of 2026 returnees –
Mason Morris, Jack Robinson and AJ Wenrich.
 
The Raiders return a total of 21 players from last year's squad and welcome a class of seven newcomers.
 
Seven of the top ten in the NCBWA preseason poll represent the PSAC, and four of those seven reside in the PSAC Eastern Division.
  
SU is scheduled to open its season with a three-game set at Catawba Feb. 6-7.
