SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University will be recognizing a select group of distinguished former student-athletes and staff members on Thursday, Jan. 29 during a halftime ceremony at the home men's basketball game versus Lock Haven.

The PSAC is celebrating its 75th anniversary season in 2025-26 and in September honored 300 of its most prominent contributors, separated into four categories (Keystones, Greatest Male Athletes, Greatest Female Athletes, Made in the PSAC). Each of those categories comprised 75 individuals. Â

A total of 26 individuals with ties to Shippensburg University (student-athlete, coach, administrator, staff member, alumni) were among those selected for recognition by the PSAC.

As many as 10 of those honorees will be able to make it back to campus and be present for recognition at the halftime ceremony.

The men's basketball game on Thursday, Jan. 29 is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. and will be held inside Heiges Field House.
