SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University graduate Emma Albee was recognized Wednesday afternoon as a recipient of a 2025-26 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Fall Top 10 Award.

To be a candidate for the prestigious PSAC Top 10 Awards, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher and be a starter or key reserve with legitimate athletic credentials. A total of five men and five women are selected as award winners after each of the three competitive seasons (Fall, Winter, Spring).

Albee is the starting goaltender for the 2025 NCAA Division II Champion SU field hockey team and a strategic communications major. She has maintained a 3.94 cumulative GPA as a grad student after achieving a 3.60 GPA as an undergrad. Albee graduated cum laude with a degree in communications, journalism and media (public relations concentration) in May of 2025.

This year's female Fall Top 10 honorees span the sports of field hockey (Albee), cross country (Slippery Rock's Jennifer Cichra, Gannon's Emily Bowers), soccer (IUP's Elle Smith) and volleyball (East Stroudsburg's Anna Coulter).

Albee was selected to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-America First Team and 2025 All-PSAC First Team this past season. As team captain, her leadership helped guide the Raiders to the 2025 NCAA and PSAC titles.

Between the sticks, Albee ranked second in the nation (first in the PSAC) in save percentage (.829) and third in the nation (second in the PSAC) in goals-against average (0.76). She led the nation with 12 shutouts and allowed one goal or less in 18 of the team's 23 games.

The award is the first PSAC Top 10 honor of Albee's career. She is the first Raider field hockey athlete to be honored with a PSAC Top 10 award since Jenna Sluymer in the fall of 2021-22.

Albee joins SU Cross Country runner Garrett Quinan on the 2025-26 Fall Top 10 list, becoming the first Raider duo to be honored in the same semester since indoor track and field athletes Josh Herbster and Leah Graybill were recognized with Winter Top 10 Awards in 2023-24.

Shippensburg has totaled 83 all-time PSAC Top 10 awards – second only to Slippery Rock (92) for the most among conference schools.
