SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's basketball team will be celebrating its Alumni Day and Pink Out on Saturday, Feb. 7 when it hosts West Chester at 1 p.m. at Heiges Field House.
 
Festivities will begin with the Alumni Game at 10 a.m. and conclude with an Alumni Reception after the conclusion of the women's game. All alumni are welcome to attend and are asked to RSVP with head coach Kristy Trn at kktrn@ship.edu.
 
The team will be conducting a silent auction to raise proceeds for the fight against breast cancer. Numerous baskets and items will be available for bidding, with the winners being announced later in the day, likely during the men's game. Cash, check or credit card may be used to purchase a winning bid.
 
Also that Saturday, the basketball teams' Final Four drawing will take place between the women's and men's game. Raffle tickets are still available; check with a member of the coaching staff of either basketball team for more information or to acquire tickets. Proceeds from the raffle benefit the basketball teams.
