SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Amanda Strous FlyHigh22 Foundation will be conducting its annual Live, Laugh, Love 5K on Saturday, Sept. 27. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and commence at the Shippensburg Station, which is located at the head of the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail.

The event is held annually in memory of Amanda Strous, who was a beloved member of the Shippensburg University Field Hockey team as a player and later as an assistant coach.

The Live, Laugh, Love 5K is an annual rain or shine event conducted for the purpose of raising money for the Amanda Strous FlyHigh22 Foundation. The Foundation supports mental health, counseling and art therapy, women who are victims of violence, and those pursing higher education in mental health.
The SU Field Hockey Team hosts IUP at noon on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Robb Sports Complex. The Raiders will be holding their Alumni Day at the game.
