SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University women's swimming alumnae Carolyn Meier '16 and Laurel Gingrich '25M are continuing in the sport with coaching positions.
 
Meier, who has been an assistant coach at TCU for the last four seasons, was promoted earlier this month to the title of associate head coach. The 2025-26 season will be her fifth with the Horned Frogs after she was previously an assistant coach at Cornell and a graduate assistant at LaSalle.
 
Gingrich, who completed her collegiate career in March with the Raiders, is joining the coaching ranks after recently being named the primary assistant coach at nearby Dickinson College.
 
Meier, a native of Fort Washington, Pa., graduated magna cum laude from Shippensburg in 2016 with a degree in exercise science.
 
Gingrich, a native of Gilford, N.H., graduated from Shippensburg in May with a master's degree in strategic communication and a perfect 4.0 GPA.
