Women’s Soccer announces 2025 recruiting class

Nine first-year players to join two midseason transfers for preseason camp in August

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University head women's soccer coach Rob Fulton has confirmed the recruitment of 11 student-athletes who have agreed to attend the university and suit up for the Raider program during the 2025 season.
 
This year's recruiting class features nine first-year student-athletes and two mid-year transfers. Of the first years, seven women are from Pennsylvania, one from Maryland and one from New Jersey.
 
"We are very excited to announce our 2025 recruiting class as future members of Shippensburg University Women's Soccer," Fulton said. "The 2025 recruiting class comes to Shippensburg as a very decorated and accomplished group of players having achieved a lot in their club and high school careers."
 
The nine incoming freshmen will be accompanied by mid-year transfers Molly McCarrick (defender) and Taylor Steininger (midfielder), who joined this team in January and were a part of the squad during the spring season. SU will return 20 players from its fall 2024 roster.

North County High School: Earned five varsity letters as an outside back for the Knights under coaches Nicholas Tackett and Nicholas Cosentino…competed at the club level for Pipeline ECNL under head coach Doy Seabolt…two-time All-Anne Arundel County First Team award winner…earned All-State honors as a senior…named team MVP as a junior and senior…also competed in lacrosse, indoor track & field, swimming and unified bowling.
 
About Boritz: Full name is Gracie Boritz…is the daughter of Kelly and Chris Boritz…has two brothers: Gavin and Griffin.
 
Kayla Dunn
Freshman • Midfield/Defense
Mount Ephraim, N.J./Camden Catholic
 
Camden Catholic High School: Earned three varsity letters as a midfielder under head coach Cathy Johnson…competed at the club level for PDA South under head coach Kevin Luber…totaled 17 goals and eight assists…selected to the All-Olympic Conference Second Team…was a member of the National Honor Society…maintained a 4.0 GPA…also competed in basketball and track & field.
 
About Dunn: Full name is Kayla Rose Dunn…is the daughter of Colleen and Sam Dunn…has two siblings: Kendall and Kelsey.
 
Emma Eisenhart
Freshman • Midfield/Forward
York, Pa./Central York
 
Central York High School: Earned four varsity letters as a midfielder for the Panthers…competed at the club level for Keystone FC under coaches Sean Cochran and Mike Lamarca…named to the York-Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA) First Team as a senior…recorded a career-high 42 points as a senior…helped the Panthers to the school's first-ever state tournament berth.
 
About Eisenhart: Full name is Emma Elizabeth Eisenhart…is the daughter of Jennifer and Keith Eisenhart '96…has two siblings: Evan and Erik.
 
Marisa Kyner

Shippensburg Area Senior High School: Earned four varsity letters as a defender and forward for the Greyhounds under head coach Todd Burns…competed at the club level for FC Elite under Burns…recognized as an All-Mid-Penn Conference Second Team All-Star as a senior…totaled nine goals and three assists as a senior…also competed in track & field…was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
 
About Kyner: Full name is Marisa Kyner…is the daughter of Heather and Bryan Kyner…has a sibling, Breanna '23.

Central Bucks East High School: Earned three varsity letters as a goalkeeper for the Patriots…competed at the club level for Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals under head coach Joe Nemzer…totaled 18 shutouts during her senior year…was a captain and two-time defensive MVP for the Patriots.
 
About Leedy: Full name is Mae Marie Leedy…is the daughter of Molly and Tim Leedy…has a brother, Reins, and a sister, Rylie.
 
Paige Marek
Freshman • Midfield/Forward
Warminster, Pa./William Tennent
 
William Tennent High School: Earned four varsity letters as an attacking center midfielder for the Panthers under coaches Elise Jara, Gary Bisaquino and Al Tocci…competed at the club level for Warminster Strikers under coaches Lou DeFonteny and Brett Marek…named to the All-Suburban One League (SOL) First Team and All-Star Team as a junior…finished as a three-time All-SOL honoree, earning Second Team honors as a sophomore and senior…totaled 10 goals and 12 assists as a senior…scored six goals and added 15 assists as a junior.
 
About Marek: Full name is Paige Nicole Marek…is the daughter of Paula Sturts and Brett Marek.

Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg Christian School
 
Harrisburg Christian School: Earned four varsity letters as a forward and midfielder for the Knights…competed at the club level for PennFC Youth 06 Black under head coach Bill Esterly…was a three-time All-Commonwealth Christian Athletic Conference (CCAC) performer…totaled 77 career goals…scored 23 goals as a senior…helped her team to a 2022 state playoff berth after winning the CCAC Championship...also competed in basketball, lacrosse, volleyball and track & field, amassing 17 varsity letters overall…named the 2024 Basketball Defensive Player of the Year…holds the school record in the triple jump…was a three-time PIAA District Championships qualifier in track & field…was the Vice President of her school's chapter of the National Honors Society.
