SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University head swimming coach Tim Verge has confirmed the recruitment of six student-athletes who have each agreed to attend the university and will suit up for the Raider men's swim program in the fall.
 
The recruiting class represents three different states, including four from Pennsylvania and one each from Oklahoma and North Carolina.
 
"We have a wonderful dynamic on our team and these new additions will really help to strengthen and continue that," Verge stated. "They are certainly very talented swimmers who will make our team better but more than that, they are tremendous people and students. There is a lot of versatility and range in the group in terms of their swimming abilities. It will be exciting to see how they develop in our program."
 
Verge added, "I am honored that they and their families have entrusted SHIP with their futures. I am looking forward to welcoming them in late August and helping them kick off their Raider careers."

Wilson High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Bulldogs under head coach Roy Snyder…2025 All-Berks County Interscholastic Athletic Association (BCIAA) selection…also lettered in water polo.
 
About Deck: Full name is Ian Mackenzie Deck…is the son of Andrew and Jaime Deck…has a brother; Owen, and two sisters; Annabelle and Maddie.


 
Ethan Dismuke

Tulsa, Ok./Jenks
 
Jenks High School: Swam for the Trojans under head coach Diego Henao…competed at the club level for Jenks Club Swimming under Diego Henao and Morgan Patrick…finished top eight in the 500 free at the 2025 Oklahoma State Championships…was a part a of two-time winning State Championship swim team.
 
About Dismuke: Full name is Ethan Dismuke…is the son of Shawn and Becky Dismuke.

High School Sports Award swimming nominee as a junior…class valedictorian…graduated with a 4.3875 GPA…high honor roll student…National Honor Society…also lettered in soccer and track & field…was First Team All-Conference as a goalie and as a midfielder on the soccer pitch.
