PUEBLO, Col. – Shippensburg University's
Sasha Lee competed in the long jump Thursday at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo.
Â
Competing at the NCAA Division II National Championships for the first time in her career, Lee finished 21st in the competition with a top mark of 17 feet, 7 inches (5.36 meters) that came on her second attempt.
Â
Lee, who missed this year's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships due to a late-season injury, was competing for the first time in nearly a month. Her third and final attempt would have been a solid mark but resulted in a foul.
Â
This season, Lee earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors for her season best of 20 feet, 2 ¼ inches (6.15 meters) that qualified her for the national championships.
Â
Including her indoor and outdoor track & field accomplishments in the long jump, triple jump and the hurdles, Lee completes her Raider career as a 17-time USTFCCCA All-Atlantic Region performer (eight times indoors, nine times outdoors), 19-time PSAC Championships place-winner, 13-time All-PSAC finisher, and seven-time PSAC champion (four times indoors, three times outdoors).
Â
On Saturday,
Abby Reasoner will compete in the javelin at 1:30 p.m. Eastern (11:30 a.m. local time).
