Brooklynn Rupert was named Tuesday to the 2025 NCAA Division II Academic All-District ® Women's Tennis Team, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.
It is the second straight season that Rupert has earned an Academic All-District® classification.
Rupert participated in graduation ceremonies last week as she is set to receive her bachelor's degree after double-majoring in supply chain management (logistics management concentration) and business management. She maintained a 3.712 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) entering the Spring 2025 semester.
In the 2024-25 season, Rupert competed in 19 singles matches and 20 doubles matches. She took to the courts primarily at No. 5 singles, where she posted a 6-6 record, while also working at No. 2 singles and No. 4 singles. In doubles, Rupert was a part of SU's No. 1 pairing in 15 matches.
Rupert won twice against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division opponents in singles.
The Academic All-District ® Team is conducted by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
2024-25 marks just the third year that the Academic All-America ® program is honoring tennis and swimming as their own sport. Formerly, tennis and swimming had been in the At-Large category, meaning that tennis players and swimmers were competing with athletes from several other sports to earn Academic All-District ® and Academic All-America ® classifications.
