SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University's
Mason Boyd,
Sasha Lee and
Abby Reasoner have been selected to compete at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The 2025 national championships take place next week at the ThunderBowl on the campus of Colorado State University Pueblo.
Â
It will be the first NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships competition for all three Raiders.

Boyd is the No. 12 seed in the decathlon. He qualified by virtue of his tremendous school record performance at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships last weekend in which he totaled 6,955 points. He will be one of four PSAC decathletes from that competition who will be in action at nationals.

Lee is the No. 11 seed in the long jump. She qualified by virtue of her jump of 20 feet, 2 ¼ inches (6.15 meters) at home in mid-April. Lee was unable to compete at the PSAC Championships due to injury but is hopeful to be adequately recovered in time for next week's competition.

Reasoner is the No. 10 seed in the javelin. She qualified by virtue of her throw of 155 feet (47.25 meters) at Lynchburg back in late March. She will be one of four PSAC javelin throwers in the competition.

According to the current NCAA Championships meet schedule, Boyd will open the competition with the start of the decathlon at 12:30 p.m. EST (10:30 a.m. local time) Thursday. Day 2 of the decathlon begins at 11:30 a.m. EST (9:30 a.m. local time) Friday.

Lee will compete in the women's long jump finals at 4:30 p.m. EST (2:30 p.m. local time) Thursday while Reasoner will compete in the women's javelin finals at 1:30 p.m. EST Saturday (11:30 a.m. local time).
