Shippensburg University was named the recipient of the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Coaching Staff of the Year award on Wednesday afternoon.
Voting is conducted by the league's head coaches.
The Shippensburg University staff is led by head coach
Dave Osanitsch. He is assisted by
Steve Spence (mid-distance/distance),
Doug Knol (sprints/hurdles),
Alison Freas (throws),
Tyler Hewitt (throws),
Kurt Dunkel (throws),
Sarah Hewitt (jumps) and
Kyle Grove (jumps).
Shippensburg secured the 2025 PSAC Indoor Championship by scoring 167 points. The Raiders scored in 14 of the 17 events – totaling 27 individual scoring performances, 15 All-PSAC (Top 3) performances and eight event champions. At season's end, the team totaled 10 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Atlantic Region selections.
SU has now won 17 of the 23 PSAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships in history, including 14 consecutive conference titles dating back through 2011.
