SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University senior Sasha Lee was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track & Field Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week on Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

Lee became the fourth Raider in school history to clear 40 feet in the triple jump Saturday at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Alumni Invitational in Lynchburg, Va.

Her top mark of 40 feet, 9 ¾ inches (12.44 meters) slots her fourth on the NCAA Division II performance list and highlighted a terrific sequence of three opening attempts that all traveled at least 38 feet, 10 ¾ inches (11.84 meters). The triple jump was one of three events for her on the day. In the long jump, her only three long jump attempts all traveled at least 18 feet, 7 ¾ inches (5.68 meters) – with her top mark for the day being 18 feet, 10 ¾ inches (5.76 meters).

She is atop the PSAC leaderboard in both jumps.

Additionally, her 100-meter hurdle race ended up just .02 seconds off her personal best that is tied for second in school history with Caitlin Stuetz – her provisional qualifier of 14.09 seconds puts her in 12th place on the national performance list.

Lee is now two-for-two in winning the PSAC Field Athlete of the Week awards thus far in the outdoor season, having also won the award Mar. 25.

This week's honor is the second in her outdoor career. She is a two-time winner during the indoor season, taking the award Feb. 24, 2025 and Dec. 11, 2023.
