SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University baseball team is ranked No. 27 in the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division II Coaches Poll released Wednesday morning.
 
It is the first time Shippensburg has been ranked in the national poll since April of 2014.
 
The Raiders, currently 10-4, are coming off a three-game series sweep of Eckerd College in Florida. Their résumé also includes a 14-8 win over Catawba – the current No. 8-ranked team – back on Feb. 8.
 
SU is one of three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division clubs in this week's poll. West Chester currently ranks seventh, while Millersville is ranked No. 24.
