LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's swimming team finished its regular season Saturday afternoon at the 2025 Bison Invitational held at Bucknell University's Kinney Natatorium.
 
The meet, which was not scored, served as a final chance for the Raiders to get races in before the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, which takes place in two weeks.
 
The highlight of the meet was the 200-yard butterfly for Shippensburg. Junior Carter Hawkes got ahead of the pace needed to achieve the PSAC qualifying standard in the event (2:03.62), and dipped under two minutes, finishing with a time of 1:59.95. With Hawkes qualifying, every Raider on the roster has qualified for the PSAC Championships.
 
Other notable swims saw sophomore Robbie Ferlick post the top times for Raider swimmers in the 100-yard freestyle (48.21), the 100-yard butterfly (53.79), and 50-yard freestyle (21.76). Sophomore Mason Koeth finished right behind Ferlick in each race.
 
The 2025 PSAC Championships return to a familiar location – the Graham Aquatic Center in York – and will be held Monday, Feb. 17 through Thursday, Feb. 20.
