SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University field hockey team had five of its players named Wednesday morning to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Atlantic Region Teams sponsored by Apex Field Hockey.

Goalkeeper Emma Albee, forward Lilly Cantabene and defender Hannah White were named to the All-Atlantic Region First Team.

Midfielder Carme Caracotche Picone and forward Agus Garibaldi were named to the All-Atlantic Region Second Team.

This is the first year that the NFHCA has selected All-Region Teams for NCAA Division II. Previously, only NCAA Division I and NCAA Division III earned the distinction of having All-Region Teams.

It is the second postseason award for all five players, who were previously named to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Teams on Nov. 10.

Albee ranked second in the nation in save percentage (.829) and third in the nation in goals-against average (0.76).

Cantabene, who missed three games and was limited in a few other contests due to injury, ranked 12th in the nation (tied for eighth in the Atlantic Region) in assists per game (0.45); she led the Raiders this season with nine assists. She tied Kelly Naude for the team lead with 10 goals.

White, the 2025 PSAC Championships Most Valuable Athlete, finished the year with two goals and three assists from her role as a defender and midfielder.

Caracotche Picone produced career highs of six goals and three assists.

Garibaldi, who missed four games and was limited in other contests due to injury this season, finished with seven goals and three assists – including two tallies in the NCAA Division II National Championship victory over Newberry.

Albee, Caracotche Picone, and White were among the seven Raiders to start all 23 games this season.
