SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- Shippensburg University redshirt-sophomore goalkeeper Kirstin Brown was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Soccer Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon by the league office.
 
Brown totaled 14 saves in a 1-1-0 week for the Raiders.
 
Her best performance came Saturday, as she matched her season-high with 10 saves in SU's 2-0 Senior Day victory over East Stroudsburg.
 
She faced a total of 21 shots, including 15 in the second half, and the clean sheet was her third of the season.
 
She also tallied four saves in a loss to Lock Haven midweek.
 
The weekly award is the second for Brown this season and the third of her career. She previously won the defensive athlete of the week award on Oct. 5, 2025 and Oct. 7, 2024.
