SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's soccer team had six of its players named Tuesday to the 2025 Division II Academic All-District ® Team.
 
Makayla Agosto, Ryleigh Cook, Kaitlyn DiCandilo, Mia Kemp, Maegan Quinn and Gabrielle Walker were selected for the award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom.
 
Agosto is an academic senior who is majoring in Exercise Science with an Allied Health Pre-Professional concentration. The Medfield, N.J. native played in 13 games (11 starts) for the Raiders and maintains a 3.83 cumulative grade-point average (GPA).
 
Cook is an academic senior who is majoring in Exercise Science with an Allied Health Pre-Professional concentration. The Pottsville native started all 16 games in midfield this fall and maintains a 3.99 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
 
DiCandilo is an academic senior who is majoring in Mid-Level/Elementary Education with a concentration in Math & Language Arts. The Harleysville native started all 16 games as a midfielder and maintains a 3.94 cumulative GPA.
 
Kemp is an academic junior who is majoring in Exercise Science with an Allied Health Pre-Professional concentration. The Berlin, Md. native started all 16 games at wingback maintains a 3.67 cumulative GPA.
 
Quinn is an academic senior who is majoring in Early Childhood Education. The West Chester native started all 16 games as a central midfielder and maintains a 3.60 cumulative GPA.
 
Walker is an academic junior who is dual majoring in Accounting and Management with a Human Resource Management concentration. The Stony Brook, N.Y. native played in 16 games (13 starts) as a midfielder and maintains a 3.78 cumulative GPA.
 
Cook and DiCandilo are both three-time Academic All-District ® honorees, while Quinn and Walker are two-time honorees. It is the first recognition for Agosto and Kemp.
 
The Academic All-District ® Team is conducted by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
