The Shippensburg University football team had three of its players named Wednesday afternoon to the 2025 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Football Teams.
Â
All three SU All-PSAC honorees ply their trade on the defensive side of the football.
Nate Myers was selected to the All-PSAC East First Team as a linebacker. Defensive back
DJ Jackson and defensive lineman
Eli Rodriguez were chosen for the Second Team.
Â
Voting for the All-PSAC squads is conducted by the league's head coaches.
Â
Myers emerged as one of the best linebackers in the conference in his first year as a full-time starter. He ranked third in the PSAC with 14.5 tackles for loss and fourth in overall tackles with 102. He also tallied three interceptions.
Â
The redshirt-sophomore's total tackles and tackles for loss are the most for a Raider since Matt Feeney in 2022.
Â
Jackson ranked fourth in the conference with 10 passes defended, including nine pass breakups and one interception. The senior recently moved into the top 10 all-time in program history with 30 career passes defended, and his 55 tackles in 2025 were tied for fourth most on the team.
Â
Rodriguez paced the Raider defense with four sacks and two forced fumbles in his debut season. His five quarterback hurries ranked second on the team. The redshirt-freshman led all SU defensive linemen with 27 total tackles.
Â
It is the first All-PSAC recognition for all three players. Three All-PSAC honorees are the team's most since the 2023 season.
Â
Unbeaten Eastern Division regular season champions Kutztown garnered three of the four yearly major awards. Quarterback Judd Novak was tabbed the 2025 PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Year. KU linebacker Brandon Hile was named East Defensive Athlete of the Year and head coach Jim Clements East Coach of the Year. Bloomsburg running back Declan Clancy was tabbed East Freshman of the Year.
