The Shippensburg University women's swimming team went on the road Saturday and competed in a tri-meet against East Stroudsburg and host Bloomsburg in action at the Nelson Field House pool.
 
Makennah Fickett was an event winner for the Raiders, claiming a first-place time of 2:18.28 in the 200-yard individual medley (IM).
 
Olivia Carver and Ella Nick recorded performances that satisfied the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships qualifying standards. Carver had two, swimming 2:00.23 in the 200-yard freestyle and 55.88 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle, while Nick achieved the feat in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.43 seconds.
 
The Raiders finished the day with a third-place swim in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Elyse Arnold, Carver, Michelle Kubiak and Emma Gerlinski posted a time of 1:44.92.
 
Shippensburg hosts IUP at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Donald Miller Pool inside Heiges Field House.
