The Shippensburg University men's swimming team won both bookend relays Saturday but came up short in a dual meet at Bloomsburg held inside the Nelson Field House pool.
SU began the day with a first-place time of 1:35.68 in the 200-yard medley relay, as
Mason Koeth,
Kiran George,
Josh Einolf and
Robbie Ferlick teamed up for the victorious swim.
The Raiders capped it with Koeth,
Josh Wall,
Connor Ludwig and Ferlick combining for a victorious 200-yard freestyle relay of 1:27.52.
Individually, Einolf and Wall went 2-3 in the 100-yard butterfly with respective Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships cuts of 52.22 seconds and 52.73 seconds.
Ferlick was the runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.97 seconds while Koeth took second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.83 seconds. Both were PSAC cuts.
Alex Kissinger and
Ethan Dismuke went 2-3 in the 500-yard freestyle. Kissinger swam 5:09.92 while Dismuke touched the wall in 5:12.65.
Shippensburg hosts IUP at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Donald Miller Pool inside Heiges Field House.
