The Shippensburg University men's basketball team was voted fifth in the 2025-26 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Preseason Coaches' Poll released Thursday morning by the league office.
The voting is conducted by the league's head coaches.
Shippensburg returns 12 players, including all five starters from the end of last season, and welcomes a group of four newcomers.
Among the returning starters is All-PSAC First Team guard
Markus Frank. Frank paced the conference in regular season points scored (565) and finished fourth in the PSAC in points per game (19.6) a season ago.
Shippensburg opens the season at Frostburg State's Bobcat Classic Nov. 15-16, with tilts against the host Bobcats and Bluefield State.
