SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's basketball team raced out to a 20-5 lead at the second media timeout Monday night and never looked back en route to an impressive 86-58 victory over Bloomsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup at Heiges Field House.
Shippensburg (5-8, 3-4 PSAC) led by as many as 42 points in a game where nine of its 10 players in uniform scored at least four points. Jackson Boone and
Drew Sleva each appeared in their third game of the season; Boone posted career highs of four points and four rebounds, and each player had an assist.
Bloomsburg (2-12, 1-6) scored the first basket of the game but then proceeded to miss 14 consecutive field-goal attempts.
