SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University field hockey team placed four athletes on the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II Watchlist announced Thursday afternoon: senior Emilia Conners, senior Yasmin De Meyer, junior Agus Garibaldi, and sophomore Hannah White.

Conners is a 2022 All-PSAC Second Team honoree and a three-time selection to the NFHCA Division II All-Academic squad. She helped to aid the SU defense that limited the opposition to one goal or less twelve times last season. Conners contributed to the 2021 National Champion team her freshman season in 2021.

De Meyer is a 2023 All-PSAC Second Team honoree who totaled 10 goals and two assists and led the team with four game-winning goals. She was named the NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the week and PSAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Week during the 2023 season.

Garibaldi is a two-time NFHCA First Team All-American and two-time All-PSAC First Team performer. In 2023, she was ranked second in the nation for assists (12) and fourth in the PSAC with goals scored (13). In her first year as a Raider, Garibaldi was named the 2022 PSAC Freshman of the Year.

White, a 2023 All-PSAC Second Team pick as a first-year player, served as the team's primary penalty-corner inserter. She totaled three goals and six assists for the Raiders during her first season.

The watchlist is compiled of 48 student-athletes from 18 Division II institutions. To be nominated for the watchlist, student-athletes must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years.

The NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams will be announced on December 4, 2024 and December 17, 2024. All-student athletes are eligible for the teams and do not have to be on this list to be considered.
