The Shippensburg University women's basketball team had two of its players named Tuesday to the 2023-24 Division II Academic All-District ® Team, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.
Junior
Abbie Miller is an early childhood education major with a coaching minor who maintains a 3.736 cumulative grade point average through 78 credits. She played in all 28 games for the Raiders this past season and made 24 starts.
Graduate student
Madi White is a supply chain analytics major and maintains a 4.0 graduate GPA through 21 credits. She graduated May 2022 from Shepherd University with a 3.59 GPA and a degree in engineering sciences/systems engineering. White played in 26 games for the Raiders this past season, making six starts.
It is the first Academic All-District ® honor for White, while Miller is a two-time honoree. The Academic All-District ® Team is coordinated by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
