Freshman Jazz Barry competed in the 100-yard breaststroke Friday morning at the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Swimming National Championships, representing the Shippensburg University women's swimming team at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
 
Barry completed prelims with a time of 1:04.73, which resulted in 25th place. Her season and collegiate best remains 1:03.63, which was achieved at the 2024 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships and resulted in an All-PSAC third-place finish.
 
The performance ranks third in school history behind previous NCAA qualifiers Stephanie O'Toole (1:02.78 in 2018) and Gabbie Johnson (1:03.01 in 2020).
 
Barry's lifetime best of 1:03.31 was achieved in February 2019.
