The winner of Friday's game will face the winner of the other semifinal between No. 2 East Stroudsburg and No. 3 Kutztown in the PSAC Championship game at 12 p.m. Sunday. ESU and Kutztown will play Friday at 2:30 p.m.
Â
The Top 5 teams from the Atlantic Region will advance to the NCAA Tournament, meaning Bloomsburg – the No. 5-ranked team in the third edition of the Atlantic Region rankings – will be highly motivated entering Friday's contest. Shippensburg is ranked No. 1 in the region, while East Stroudsburg is No. 2 and Kutztown is No. 4.

Shippensburg has won the last 10 meetings in the series dating back to 2016. The last Bloomsburg victory was a 3-2 triumph in overtime in a PSAC Quarterfinal back on Nov. 3, 2015.
Â
Shippensburg is 20-30 overall in the PSAC Championships. The Raiders are making their 31st appearance in the PSAC Semifinals on Friday, entering with an all-time PSAC Semifinals record of 14-16. SU has won two PSAC Championships (2005, 2021).
Â
Last season, the Raiders defeated Kutztown 1-0 in the PSAC Semifinals before falling to hosts East Stroudsburg, 2-1 in overtime, in the PSAC Championship game.
