The Shippensburg University men's basketball team could not slow down Salem on Sunday, dropping a 107-91 decision to the Tigers in a neutral-site contest at Frostburg State's Conference Challenge.
Shippensburg (0-2) got a game-high 32 points from redshirt-sophomore
Markus Frank, who was 13-of-17 from the field and 6-of-9 at the free-throw line. Frank added a team-high eight rebounds plus two assists.

Salem (1-1) got to the free-throw line 40 times, making 33 attempts. The Tigers made 33 field goals as well, making 52 percent, and committed just nine turnovers. Six Tigers finished in double figures, with Tyree Davis scoring 23 (11-of-16 at the free-throw line) and Isaac James finishing with 20.
Shippensburg returns to action at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Wilmington (Del.).
