SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University men's basketball team participated in the Inclusive Basketball program on Saturday morning at Henderson Gym.

Inclusive Basketball is a program that brings community members with disabilities together with Shippensburg students and faculty. Young adults over the age of 16 can attend and decide how, when, and for how long they participate. University clubs, athletic teams and Greek organizations are welcome and encouraged to participate. 

On Saturday, it was the Raiders who stopped by and interacted with the Inclusive Basketball crew.

The program is run by Dr. Samuel Benbow, a member of Shippensburg University's Center of Student Engagement and Academic Enrichment. 

Inclusive Basketball has remaining sessions scheduled for: Sept. 23, Sept. 30, Oct. 7, Oct. 14, Oct. 21, Oct. 28 and Nov. 11. All events are held in Henderson Gymnasium on the Shippensburg University Campus from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Dates are subject to change due to weather or other occurrences.
