Hannah Marsteller was named to the 2023 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Atlantic Region First Team on Wednesday afternoon at first base. This marks Masteller's third career All-Atlantic Region First Team honour.
Marsteller is the first SU player in 18 years to earn three consecutive NFCA All-Region First Team honors. She joins Jamie Dacey (2002-04) and Kelley Tiesi (2003-05) who have received three consecutive First Team honours.
Entering the NCAA Tournament, Marsteller has a .439 batting average with 16 doubles, two triples, 15 home runs, 51 RBIs and 12 stolen bases. She leads the PSAC and is eighth in nation in slugging percentage (.878) and seventh in the nation in OB% (.548).
Marsteller is also a three-peat PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Year. She is the first Raider in school history to earn multiple Athlete of the Year awards, and the first PSAC player to win three consecutive PSAC East Athlete of the Year awards in 21 years, since Bloomsburg's Erica Miller won the award four straight seasons form 1998-2001.
