The Shippensburg University lacrosse team could not withstand Kutztown's momentum as it fell, 17-5, Saturday afternoon in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern division matchup at Keystone Field.
Shippensburg (1-11, 0-7 PSAC East) scored three of its five goals in the first half. Kutztown (8-3,5-2) held a 10-3 halftime lead and maintained the advantage in the final stretch.
Graduate
Hannah Seifried and freshman
Ali Pioli led the Raiders with three draw controls and one goal each. Pioli also had five groundballs and three caused turnovers. Seifried added two groundballs.

Keegan Dings each scored a goal for SU. Junior
Payton Margerum recorded her first collegiate goal.
The Golden Bears were led by Sam Graf who scored four goals and notched eight draw controls.
Sophomore goalie
Kayla Vosburg logged 10 saves in the loss.
Shippensburg heads to West Chester Wednesday for a 4 p.m. contest.
