SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University lacrosse team came up short in its final game of the 2023 season, falling to Bloomsburg, 12-6, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern division matchup Saturday afternoon at Robb Sports Complex.
Shippensburg (2-15, 1-11 PSAC East) got within three goals of Bloomsburg (7-10, 4-8) after a free position score from sophomore

Ali Pioli led the Raiders with two goals and four draw controls each. They also combined for five groundballs.
Graduate
Hannah Seifried scored one goal and added two draw controls. Seifried ended her career with 129 goals, which ties for fifth in school history. She also finished her career second all-time in draw controls with 249.
Sophomore
Jamie Carvin (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) contributed one goal. Freshman
Grace DeMarzio notched three groundballs and two draw controls.
Shippensburg held a 12-9 advantage in draw controls.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Kayla Vosburg recorded 11 saves, finishing the season with 12 double-digit save games.
Bloomsburg was led by Amanda Stoll and Julia Cote, who each scored three goals and combined for five draw controls. Goalkeeper Lauren Foley made 18 saves.
