The Shippensburg University women's outdoor track & field team had a solid performance on Saturday at the Millersville Metrics.
 
Shippensburg's javelin throwers had four performers that satisfied the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships automatic qualifying standards. Abby Reasoner led the Raiders with a second-place throw of 132 feet (40.23 meters). Katie Mancino had a fourth-place finish with a throw of128 feet, 1 inches (39.04 meters), Brittany Nye threw 122 feet, 9 inches (37.41 meters) for a seventh-place finish and Maddie Sieg was right behind Nye and threw 121 feet, 10 inches.
 
Payton Bauer placed third in the shot put with a PSAC qualifier mark of 41 feet, 8 inches (12.70 meters). Deja Winkler placed sixth with a throw of 37 feet, 8.75 inches (11.50 meters).
 
Norah Vallon was the lone Raider to compete in the high jump and finished fifth with clearance of 4 feet, 11 inches (1.50 meters).
 
Kyli Moon-Rumsey made her outdoor debut with the Raiders and placed third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.50 seconds.
 
Amanda LaVana had a huge PR in the 5K, placing second in 19:16.53. Emilea Alleman came right behind and broke her personal best with a time of 19:33.34.
 
Shippensburg will compete on Wednesday at the York Twilight Meet.
