The Shippensburg University women's outdoor track & field team completed a successful weekend with another school record, as the 4x100-meter relay made history on Saturday at the Colonial Relays hosted by the College of William & Mary.
 
Shippensburg's foursome of Aliyah Serrano, Sara McKean, Kayla Dalhouse and Leah Graybill teamed up to break the school record with a third-place time of 46.63 seconds – improving upon the previous record (46.8 seconds) set last season by Adriana Baxter, McKean, Dalhouse and Graybill.
 
It was third school record of the weekend for Graybill – who broke SU's marks in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash on Friday.
 
Also on Saturday, the quartet of Dalhouse, Alyssa Wert, Lieke Black and Melanie Barger completed the 4x200-meter relay in 1:47.29.
 
Four Raiders competed individually in field events Saturday. Sasha Lee placed sixth in the invitational portion of the triple jump, placing sixth on a mark of 37 feet, 8 inches.
 
Allyson Richwine cleared the high jump bar at 5 feet, 1 ¼ inches in the non-invitational section, while Nicola Puggé; got over the bar at 4 feet, 9 ½ inches and put the shot 38 feet, 0 ¼ inches.
 
Ariel Jones made her season debut and was one of 11 competitors to compete in the invitational section of the high jump, but she was one of eight who could not get over the bar at the opening height of 5 feet, 3 ¾ inches (1.62 meters) amidst rainy, windy conditions.
 
Shippensburg will next compete Wednesday afternoon and evening at York's Twilight Meet.
