SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University will be inducting six former student-athletes into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, Nov. 3.

The 38th annual induction ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the Tuscarora Room located inside Reisner Dining Hall.

The event is being held as a luncheon and each inductee will be given an opportunity to provide a short speech.
We will be posting full bios of each inductee as the week progresses.

Matt Gillette '13Â is an All-American and four-time All-PSAC and All-Region cross country runner who is also a two-time national champion in track & field who was named the 2013 PSAC Indoor Championships Overall MVP and Most Valuable Track Athlete. He was a six-time PSAC Champion in track & field who was named the PSAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Year as a senior.
Steve Meissner '91 is one of the fastest and most accomplished swimmers in the history of Shippensburg University Men's Swimming, having won the 1991 NCAA Division II national championship in the 100-yard butterfly in a year that the Raiders finished fourth as a team at the NCAA Championships. He is a four-time PSAC Champion and was the national runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly as a junior.

Neely Spence Gracey '12  is one of the best student-athletes in the history of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), having finished her cross country and track & field career as an 11-time NCAA All-American, 8-time NCAA National Champion, 10-time PSAC Athlete of the Year and three-time Academic All-American ® who was twice named the USTFCCCA National Cross Country Athlete of the Year and the PSAC/Pete Nevins Women's Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Kristina Taylor Kulp '13Â is a three-time All-American and three-time PSACÂ Field Hockey Athlete of the Year from 2008-2011 who was named the 2010 NFHCA Player of the Year and who etched herself in the SU and NCAA career record books. She graduated with Shippensburg's school record for career goals (80), a total that lasted for more than a decade.

Kelley Tiesi Key '06/'20Â is one of the greatest pitchers in NCAA Division II softball history, having set Shippensburg University career records with a 0.62 ERA, 99 wins and 1,095 strikeouts. She is the only player in school history to be named an NFCA All-American four consecutive years, and was named the 2004 NCAA Division II Softball Player of the Year.Â

Zach Zulli '13 is the only Shippensburg University football player to ever win the Harlon Hill trophy, the award issued annually to the top player in NCAA Division II. In three years as the starting quarterback, Zulli broke 35 school records, including 10,988 career passing yards, 123 career passing touchdowns, and 11,663 career total offense yards.
