Shippensburg University junior Tess Jedeloo was named the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday morning by the national office.

It is her second award in as many days after being named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Field Hockey Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Jedeloo scored five goals and recorded an assist last week as Shippensburg won at No. 3 Kutztown, 3-2, and then dispatched Slippery Rock, 7-1. In the victory at Kutztown, Jedeloo scored the game-winning goal; it was the lone goal of the second half.

She then had a hand in five of SU's seven goals against Slippery Rock – assisting on the opening goal before scoring the second, fourth, fifth and sixth of the game. It marked her first-ever four-goal game and a single-game career high of nine points.

Jedeloo's team-high 14 goals are tied for third in NCAA Division II.

No. 1-ranked Shippensburg travels to face No. 2 East Stroudsburg at 2 p.m. today at Whitenight Field.
