SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University head men's swimming coach
Tim Verge has confirmed the recruitment of Robbie Ferlick, who has agreed to attend the university and will suit up for the Raider program in the fall.
He joins a group of five early signees to the women's swimming team as a part of the current 2023-24 recruiting class who have either national letters of intent (NLIs) or institutional letters expressing their desire to swim at Shippensburg.

Souderton High School: Swims at the varsity level for the Indians under head coach Lou Williams…competes at the club level with Harleysville Swim for coach Judy Hemmerle…placed 13th in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle at the 2022 PIAA '3A' State Championships as a junior…notched a 15th-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle at the 2020 PIAA '3A' State Championships as a freshman…received All-State honors for his place-winning performances…named to the All-Suburban One League (SOL) First Team…also played water polo…was a member of the distinguished honor roll.
About Ferlick: Full name is Robert Roman Ferlick…is the son of Tom and Kari Ferlick…has two siblings, Josie and Frankie.
Coach Verge on Ferlick: "Robbie drove out to SHIP three times by himself during the process. That really shows how much he enjoyed what he experienced. He is so excited to be a part of the Milton and Doreen Morgan School of Engineering and our team. He has phenomenal talent and I am just elated that he chose SHIP. He will do some amazing things here."
