SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University senior midfielder Hannah Seifried was named to the 2022 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Atlantic Region Second Team on Thursday afternoon, marking her second consecutive All-Region honor.
 
Seifried's honor makes it four consecutive seasons that the Raiders have had an All-Region player. In addition to Seifried last season, defender Valerie Hertz was recognized in 2019 and 2018.
 
Seifried led the Raiders with 51 goals this season and finished the regular season ranked sixth in the PSAC for goals per game (3.00). She is also ranked seventh in the conference for draw controls per game (4.82) and eighth in groundballs per game (2.76).
 
Seifried not only led the Raiders in goals, but she led the team in draw controls (82), caused turnovers (24) and groundballs (47) and was second in assists (11). She scored hat tricks in more than half of the team's games, totaling 12 this season including a six-goal game against Bloomsburg. Seifried also had at least one point, one groundball and one draw control in every game. She had multiple caused turnovers in eight games.
