Nicola Puggé began the heptathlon on Thursday, completing four of the seven events in action at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic.
Puggé put forth a score of 2,560 points in her debut collegiate outdoor multi competition and sits in sixth place in the heptathlon standings. She posted her highest point total with a time of 16.33 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles and cleared the high jump bar at a height of 4 feet, 11 ¾ inches.
She also had a top shot put of 36 feet, 3 ½ inches and matched her season best in the 200 meters with a time of 27.84 seconds.
Friday's competition at the Bison Outdoor Classic begins at 9 a.m.
