BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's tennis team concluded the weekend at the Bloomsburg Invitational on Sunday with two more wins.
In doubles, the Raiders played against tough opponents from Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, and Millersville. Senior
Kayla Tryanski and junior
Sahar Islam defeated their opposing tandem from Lock Haven.
In singles, sophomore
Jessalyn Morrow was aggressive on the court against Lock Haven and won 6-1, 6-1. Freshman
Kendall Winters fought hard against an opponent from Bloomsburg. The match came down to a break-on serve that gave the Husky the win, 4-6, 4-6.
The Raiders will be back on the court for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Individual Championships on October 2 at Bloomsburg.
