Shippensburg University graduate student Kyle Lysy was named Tuesday afternoon to the 2021 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Baseball Second Team. Voting is conducted by the league's head coaches.
 
Lysy led the SU pitching staff this season with five wins, 54.1 innings pitched and a 3.48 earned-run average (ERA). He recorded multiple single-season career highs, including 66 strikeouts and 10 starts.
 
In six of his 10 starts, Lysy allowed two earned runs or less. He recorded five or more strikeouts in 9-of-10 starts, including a season-high nine strikeouts on three occasions. Lysy held his opponents to a .225 batting average against.
 
Millersville University swept this year's major awards, as Bren Taylor was named Athlete of the Year, Conor Cook was named Rookie of the Year, Jeff Taylor was named Pitcher of the Year, and Jon Shehan was named Coach of the Year. The full list of 2021 award winners is available at psacsports.org.
