SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University softball team rallied twice in its final at-bat Tuesday to score a pair of walk-off wins over visiting Pitt-Johnstown, defeating the Mountain Cats by scores of 6-5 and 10-8 in non-league action at Robb Field.
Â
Shippensburg (17-13) continued to knock the cover off the ball, totaling 27 hits in the doubleheader, but allowed three runs in the final two innings of the opener and six runs in the final two innings of the nightcap to set up some dramatic finishes.
