The Shippensburg University women's basketball team held Pitt-Johnstown to 14-percent shooting in the fourth quarter Saturday to defeat the host Mountain Cats by a score of 69-61 in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) mandated crossover at Sports Center.

Shippensburg (7-3, 3-1 PSAC) kept Pitt-Johnstown (3-7, 1-3) to 2-of-14 shooting (including 0-of-7 from the three-point line) in the fourth quarter to gradually extend a lead. The Mountain Cats tied the game with 8:21 remaining before the Raiders went on an 11-4 run to build their largest lead of the night, 62-55. SU went 5-of-6 at the free-throw line in the final minute to clinch the win.

SU opened the game with a 7-0 run but UPJ came back to take a one-point lead at the end of the first quarter.
