Football Announces Initial Commitments and Signings to 2020 Recruiting Class

Incoming student-athletes have signed agreements to attend SU

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University football team is announcing its initial list of recruits that have signed to play for the Red Raiders beginning in the 2020 season.
 
These players have signed either national letters of intent (NLIs) or institutional letters committing them to play football at Shippensburg under head coach Mark 'Mac' Maciejewski '92/'96M.
 
National Signing Day (#NSD20) is the first day that the Red Raiders can officially add new players to their team for the 2020 season. Additional recruits will be added to this list over the course of the next several months.

Alcantara played defensive end for Paramus Catholic. His MaxPreps page lists him with 52 tackles and four sacks as a senior. He was named to the All-Bergen County Second Team Defensive squad. HUDL VIDEO

 
Alexander played defensive end for the Hawks. His MaxPreps page lists him with 39 tackles and 9 1/2 tackles for a loss as a Senior. HUDL VIDEO
 
Benjamin played Wide Receiver for the Blue Streaks. His MaxPreps page lists him with 37 receptions for 469 yards and three touchdowns as a senior. His career totals include 109 receptions for 1510 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was named to the All Lancaster-Lebanon league second team offensive squad. HUDL VIDEO
 
Butler was at Shepherd University from 2017-19. Prior to Shepherd, Butler was a Wide Receiver for the Blazers. His MaxPreps page lists him with 32 receptions for 573 yards and six touchdowns as a senior. HUDL VIDEO
 
 
Chirchi played on both sides of the ball for the Eagles. Chirchi earned all Northern Virginia honorable mention for his efforts as an offensive lineman. HUDL VIDEO
 
Cruz played linebacker for the Crusaders. His Maxpreps page lists him with 189 total tackles with 16 TFLs in his career with the Crusaders. Cruz earned First Team All-Bergen County as a linebacker. HUDL VIDEO
 
DeLuccia played Running Back and Linebacker for the Indians and was a part of a regional championship team. His MaxPreps page lists him with 25 carries for 124 yards and a touchdown and also with 10 receptions for 135 yards and two touchdowns as a senior. On the defensive side, DeLuccia had 64 total tackles with two sacks and two tackles for a loss as a senior. He earned first team All-Star on the offensive end for the New Jersey Super Conference- Freedom Red Division. HUDL Video
 
Dorsey played Running Back as a freshman at Howard University where he had 40 carries for 248 yards and two touchdowns for the Bison. According to the York Dispatch, Dorsey rushed for 1,728 yards and scored 15 touchdowns and averaged nine yards a carry as a senior for the Bearcats. HUDL VIDEO
 
Emge played Running Back and Linebacker for the Blue Streaks. His MaxPreps page lists him with 214 total tackles with 19 tackles for a loss in his four-year career. He was named to the All Lancaster-Lebanon league First Team Defensive squad. HUDL VIDEO
 
 
Emge played as a Wide Receiver and a Linebacker for the Blue Streaks. His MaxPreps page lists him with 227 total tackles and 28.5 tackles for a loss and 12.5 sacks in his four-year career. He was named to the All Lancaster-Lebanon League First Team defensive squad. HUDL VIDEO
 
Ferrauilo most recently played at El Camino College as a quarterback, where he appeared in 11 games and completed 114 passes for 1,583 yards and 19 touchdowns. Ferrauilo also played at Western Illinois. His MaxPreps page lists him with 242 completions for 3,330 yards and 40 touchdowns as a senior. HUDL VIDEO
 
Flood played Offensive Tackle and Defensive Tackle for the Blue Devils. Flood was named to the All West Jersey Football League Second team Offense in the Freedom Division. HUDL Video  
George played linebacker for the Paladins. His MaxPreps page lists him with 138 total tackles including six tackles for a loss as a senior. He was named to the All-Bergen County Second Team Defensive Squad. HUDL VIDEO
 
Hines played as a Defensive End for the Pioneers. His MaxPreps page lists him with 110 total tackles, 19 tackles for a loss, and five sacks as a senior. He was named to the All Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 First Team Defensive squad. HUDL VIDEO
 
Hudson played at Valley Forge Military College. Before that, Hudson played as a linebacker at Paul VI. His MaxPreps page lists him with 122 total tackles including seven tackles for a loss and eight sacks in his career. HUDL VIDEO
 


Jones played as an Offensive Tackle and a Defensive End for the Huskies. His MaxPreps page lists him with 44 Tackles, including 10 tackles for a loss and five sacks, as a senior. HUDL VIDEO 
 
Montross was a kicker for the Tigers. According to the Wyoming County Press Examiner, Montross finished his senior season 11-13 on field goals including a long of 47 yards. Montross has been named to play for Team Pennsylvania in the Big 33 game. HUDL VIDEO
 
Nash played as a Wide Receiver for the Chargers. His MaxPreps page lists him with 18 receptions for 267 yards and five touchdowns. HUDL VIDEO
 
Rand redshirted at Millersville in 2019. Before that, Rand played as a Running Back and a Defensive End for the Green Hornets. His MaxPreps Page lists him for 218 carries for 1,056 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground along with 12 receptions for 201 yards and four touchdowns as a senior. Rand helped the Green Hornets to a District 6 title and a state semifinals appearance in 2018.
 
Reinberry played in five games as a freshman for American International in 2018. Before AIC, Reinberry played Wide Receiver for the Warriors. He earned honorable mention All-State honors for the Warriors. HUDL VIDEO
 
Rivera was an Offensive Lineman and Nose Guard for the Burrs. EasternPAFootball.com lists him with 14 tackles, including six for a loss, and a forced fumble. HUDL VIDEO
Smith played at East Coast Prep in Massachusetts where he had 34 receptions for 290 yards and a touchdown for the Firebirds. Before East Coast Prep, Smith played Running Back for the Wildcats. His MaxPreps page lists him with 4,197 rushing yards on 452 carries and 57 touchdowns in a three-year tenure. Smith was named to the 2018 All-YAIAA First Team Offensive squad.

Van Scyoc was at Bloomsburg in 2018-19. Prior to Bloomsburg, Van Scyoc played Quarterback for the Greyhounds. His MaxPreps Page lists him with 291 completions for 4,321 yards and 44 touchdowns in his career. HUDL VIDEO

Williams played as a Defensive Back for Fort Scott Community College. He accounted for eight total tackles in seven games for the Greyhounds. Before Fort Scott, Williams played as a Defensive Back for the Bruins. HUDL VIDEO
 

Zalutko was a linebacker for Berwick. He was a three-time Wyoming Valley All Conference award winner and selected to the Bloomsburg Press Enterprise first team defensive squad. HUDL VIDEO
