The Shippensburg University wrestling team took to the mat four times on Saturday at the 2020 North-South Duals hosted by Ursinus College, with the Raiders winning all four of their dual meets in neutral-site competition.
 
Shippensburg opened the day with a 26-16 victory over Scranton, a squad that defeated East Stroudsburg earlier this season. The Raiders then dispatched the Merchant Marine Academy (26-15), the University of Southern Maine (28-14), and Trinity (33-6).
 
Four Raiders went undefeated on Saturday. Noteworthy was the 4-0 record of senior Cole Rush, who pinned Scranton's Dante Simeti and Southern Maine's Elijah Holbrook in addition to a 6-5 decision and a victory by forfeit.
 
Sophomore Matt Milbrand went 4-0 on the day with four decisions. Milbrand defeated Scranton's Anthony Clarizio (4-2), Merchant Marine Academy's Jake Boyd (4-3), Southern Maine's Kevin Moore (3-2) and Trinity's Haroldo Nesbeth, 5-1.
 
Senior Derek Berberick went 3-0, including a pin of Merchant Marine Academy's Dan Dubinsky in 98 seconds. Redshirt-junior Alexi Castro also went 3-0, including a 13-2 major decision against Scranton's Kiel Pechko.
 
Redshirt-junior Pat Duggan scored bonus points in each of his three wins, with an 18-2 technical fall sandwiched by major decisions of 12-2 and 15-7. Sophomore Drake Brenize scored three victories by decision, with scores of 3-2, 3-2 and 3-1.
 
Shippensburg returns to action next weekend at the Kutztown University Duals held inside Keystone Arena.
