The Shippensburg University women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Lock Haven on Saturday in a tightly-contested Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup against the Bald Eagles.
Shippensburg (3-1-0, 1-1-0 PSAC East) out-shot Lock Haven (1-0-1, 1-0-0) by a 7-5 margin in the second half, and also out-cornered the Bald Eagles by a 5-3 margin over the final 45 minutes. The hosts, however, scored the match's lone goal in the 31st minute, as Taylor Moritz scored off a pass from Gabbriele Edinger.
The Raiders totaled 12 shots and six corners in the match. Senior
Izzy Weigel had four shots, landing two on goal.

Delaney Shifflett made six saves, one shy of her season high.
Shippensburg is back in action at 7 p.m. Wednesday when it hosts Bloomsburg from David See Field.
