The Shippensburg University men's soccer team's Wednesday night match at Chestnut Hill was halted at halftime due to lightning, with the two teams playing to a 0-0 score at the intermission.
 
The match is expected to result in a no-contest, as a reschedule date is highly unlikely.
 
SU had posted a 4-0 edge in shots on goal and a 3-0 advantage in corner kicks during the first half according to the live statistics that were transmitted before electricity ensued.
 
Shippensburg returns to action at 3:30 p.m. Saturday against Goldey-Beacom at David See Field.
